IEU promotes an eco-friendly lifestyle by holding eco-marathons, taking part in international eco-projects, sorting waste, encouraging the principles of conscious consumption, etc.

Besides, we realize that the sustainable development, better life quality, and national security can only be achieved by the careful use of natural resources, preservation of natural ecosystems, maintenance and improvement of environmental quality. It requires the consolidation of efforts at all levels, from international cooperation to actions of a particular person. Thus, we believe that we should do our best to make our activities contribute to the sustainable development of humankind. Our activities have both external and internal focuses.

The decision of the University Academic Council (dated December 28, 2021) approved the Regulations on the IEU environmental policy, which were amended in 2021. The environmental policy includes commitments to implement, maintain, and constantly improve the environmental management system as a component of the University’s overall management system, as well as specific commitments in the following areas:

Being at the center of events, adopting innovations, and sharing relevant knowledge with students is the main goal of IEU lecturers, and preserving the environment is everyone’s task. So, we support environmental projects, are aware of current issues, and strive to improve the well-being of people around the world.

We do everything depending on us and dream about a clean and safe environment, as well as the reduced amount of waste that fills our country.
