New Online Course “Digital Media for Inclusive Peacebuilding” Now Available
Within the framework of the international INCLUDE ME+ project, the online course “Digital Media for Inclusive Peacebuilding” has been introduced, offering new opportunities for developing digital competences, intercultural dialogue, and inclusive education. The course is designed to promote a modern approach to using digital media as a tool for social change, participation, and peacebuilding.
The programme is aimed at a wide audience, including educators, students, representatives of civil society organisations, and anyone interested in media and communication. It combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, enabling participants not only to understand the role of digital media in contemporary society but also to apply it effectively to foster inclusion, mutual understanding, and social cohesion.
Special attention is given to the development of critical thinking, media literacy, and responsible digital citizenship. Participants gain insights into how to counter hate speech, misinformation, and stereotypes, as well as how to create inclusive content that reflects the diversity of modern societies. The course also highlights the role of mediation as a tool for conflict resolution in digital environments and for building constructive dialogue.
The course has a strong practical focus, encouraging participants to actively engage, develop their own media projects, and exchange experiences. This approach supports not only knowledge acquisition but also the development of essential skills for working in today’s digital landscape.
The course was developed within the INCLUDE ME+ project.
The “Digital Media for Inclusive Peacebuilding” course represents an important step towards creating a more open, inclusive, and responsible digital environment where everyone has the opportunity to be heard and to contribute to building a more peaceful society.
